About

T.K. & Denise Thompson opened  the doors to Thompson Wrecker Service a little over 15 years ago. Doing light, medium, & heavy duty towing. This wrecker service is based on one man & woman who strived to better the community & who wanted to help others out when they were in need. Where it soon turned into a family thing. TK & Denise's daughter, Jill, & son-in-law, Brian, soon started helping out with the business.

T.K. has ben self-employed for the entire duration of his trucking & towing  career. The small fleet of trucks that we started out started hauling locally in Post, TX which is about 45 miles from Lubbock, TX. Where our family & our businesses started about 25 years ago! About 15 years ago, we started doing tows for the local police department & DPS officers.

We extended  our business to Odessa, TX in 2014. Where we started doing heavy duty tows for local trucking companies, along with doing light, medium, & heavy duty tows for the Ector Co. Sheriff's office.

Not only do we specialize in towing, but we can do off-road recoveries, winch-outs, jumpstarts, fuel deliveries, tire changes. We also have  dozers, blades, haul trucks, dry van trailers, reefers, RGN trailers!

We are licensed through Texas Department Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).

Our guys that we have running our wreckers have been with us for most, if not all the time we've been in business!
